PEMBROKE – Athletics department officials from The University of North Carolina at Pembroke announced on Monday morning that women's track & field's Katie-Marie Sherlock and men's track & field's Brace Osewe have been named the Scotland Health Care System Braves of the Week for the week ending on March 30, 2025.

A native of London, United Kingdom, Sherlock took top honors in the 400-meter Dash on Friday at the Adidas Trojan Challenge with a personal-best time of 56.40. The performance broke a 17-year-old school record as well. Sherlock also placed second in the 200-meter Dash with a time of 25.23.

A product of Holly Springs High School, Osewe won the 400-meter Hurdles at the Adidas Trojan Challenge. The junior crossed the finish line in a time of 58.53 on Friday.
